1.Who We Are

Her Back Office teaches Artificial Intelligence (AI) in plain English, for women — free guides, honest tool reviews, and (soon) a community. It is a project by The Digital Back Office, a United States web studio. These Terms govern your use of herbackoffice.com (the "Site").

2.Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems
• Scrape, copy, or republish Site content without permission
• Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or anything unlawful
• Interfere with the Site's operation or other visitors' use of it

Site content — text, graphics, logos, and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You're welcome to share links to our guides; please don't republish them wholesale.

3.Content Copyright and AI Scraping

Everything published on this Site — every guide, review, template, sentence, and the design around it — is © Her Back Office, all rights reserved. Read it, share links to it, quote a line with credit. What you may not do:

• Republish, mirror, or bulk-download Site content
• Use automated scrapers, crawlers, or agents to harvest content from the Site
• Use any Site content to train, fine-tune, ground, or otherwise feed a machine-learning or artificial intelligence model — commercial or not — without our prior written permission
• Strip attribution and pass our work off as yours (or your chatbot's)

A friendly heads-up before you test this: we teach AI for a living, which makes us unusually good at recognizing our own writing when a model serves it back. If you scrape this Site to feed one, we will find out — and the follow-up won't be in plain English, it'll be in legalese. We enforce our copyright under applicable law, including Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedowns.

4.Education, Not Professional Advice

Everything on the Site is general education. It is not legal, financial, tax, employment, or any other kind of professional advice, and it isn't tailored to your specific situation. Before making decisions that matter — especially about your job, your business, or your money — use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

AI tools also change constantly. A guide that was accurate when published may describe a feature, price, or behavior that has since changed. We update content as we can, but we can't promise every guide reflects the current state of every tool.

5.Third-Party Tools and Links

We review and link to third-party AI tools and websites. Those products belong to their makers and are governed by their own terms, prices, and privacy policies. A mention or review on the Site is our honest opinion, not a guarantee of how a tool will work for you, and we're not responsible for what happens on other companies' platforms.

6.The Email List

Joining the email list is free. We use it to send you the resources you asked for and updates about Her Back Office. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to us. We do not sell or rent the list — see the Privacy Policy for details.

7.The Community (Coming Soon)

When the community board launches, additional community guidelines will apply and will be posted there. The short version in advance: be respectful, don't spam, and don't post anything unlawful or harmful. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break the guidelines.

8.Warranties and Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9.Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10.Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any formal claim, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other in writing and allowing 30 days to work it out. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in St. Charles County, Missouri, and both parties consent to that venue.

11.Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
